Citrus greening (also known as Huanglongbing or HLB) is a devastating agricultural disease threatening citrus production in Florida and many other regions throughout the world. Genome sequence data provide a critically important foundation for characterization of candidate virulence factors, understanding the nutritional requirements and basic physiology, and identification of regions in the sequence suitable for diagnostic probe development.
This site is a community resource designed for dissemination of genome sequence data and related analyses of organisms associated with citrus greening (HLB) with emphasis on the genus Ca. Liberibacter. Analyses provided here are currently derived from publically available sequence data and can be accessed via the GBrowse genome viewer, with additional data and links found at Additional Genome Resources. For information on registering for site updates, collaborating on genome assembly and analysis, and submission of unpublished data to the genome viewer, contact the site administrator. We have experience with a wide range of sequence assembly and analysis protocols....
